Stewardship is committed to helping you develop solid money management skills, and we desire to equip, inspire and challenge you to live with an eternal mindset by embracing a life of stewardship and generosity.

A steward is a person who manages another’s property or financial affairs, and who seeks to manage those resources according to the owner's vision and values. Regarding your spiritual growth, money and possessions can either be a great catalyst or a stumbling block. The Bible is clear that there is a direct correlation between your relationship to material things and your relationship to God. In fact, money and possessions are the chief rival god in most people's lives, as it can steal your heart from God. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."(Matthew 6:21 NIV).

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2Corinthians 9:7).

We believe the giving of our firstfruits is an act of worship, a way that honors God (Proverbs 3:9) while also living mindfully that ALL we own, not just what we give is the Lord's (Psalm 24:1). God is a giver of eternal gifts (John 3:16, 1 Cor 2:12) and temporal (Dt 8:17-18, James 1:17) and when a follower of Christ freely and joyfully gives away their increase, whether it be money, possessions, time, or talents, they are imitating God.

We are excited about your desire to give, not only because of how your gift to your local Church will allow your Church and community to continue to be about our mission of being and making disciples, but also because of what your gift prayerfully communicates to the world about your heart and relationship with God (2 Cor 9:12-15) and how investing wisely benefits you. (Acts 20:35, Luke 12:33).
